Quality Engine

Teknotik has been selling engines throughout Canada and the US (even a few overseas) for 8 years. When you buy an engine from Teknotik, you know you are getting the best quality and an engine that has been through our strict testing. Every engine is compression tested and thoroughly inspected. All broken sensors are replaced. We remove every valve cover and inspect the head. We ensure the oil pan is in excellent condition, and the oil pickup is not obstructed. The engines and transmissions have been inspected before shipment from Japan and re-inspected and tested by our knowledgeable staff upon arrival at the warehouse and inspected again before being shipped to the customer or installed into a customer car. Pictures and Video of compression test results of the engine can be supplied to potential customers upon request.

Certificate of Engine Purchase

Every engine we sell includes a Certificate of engine purchase which gives you written proof for Appraisers, Insurance Company, Police, or For Resale where the engine came from and all serial numbers and engine vins.

Warranty on Engine

Teknotik offers a warranty on every engine we sell. We stand behind our motors and offer a hassle free warranty. We are proud to say we have never had to replace a motor under warranty because we make sure what we sell is the best.

Chipped ECU and Dyno Tuning

Many swaps are provided you with a chipped OBD1 ECU preloaded with a basemap for your engine swap. This means savings in the future if you choose to invest in a full dyno tune.

At Teknotik we pride ourselves with having competitive engine prices with the local market, while offering higher quality than the competition. Our engines are a breakdown of the cost price of the car. By buying actual low mileage cars in Japan, we can offer healthier and stronger engines. These cars do carry a higher cost (just as a high mileage vs low mileage car would here in North America). With this being said, we wont be the cheapest, but we will be the best. Think of it as buying day old at a bakery versus fresh out of the oven. Don’t put stale bread in your car!
